Jenzabar Highlights New Strategy for Campus Administrative Systems

Administrative software provider Jenzabar has announced a new direction for its Jenzabar EX suite of business office applications for higher education. Additions to the platform will include a budget module and an enhanced purchasing module, as well as integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP.

According to the company, the new strategy is intended to improve collaboration, helping streamline business office tasks and improve access to information throughout the campus environment. The new budgeting module will manage all aspect of budget lifecycles, while the purchasing module offers advanced workflow, granular access to data, and an improved user interface, among other things.

In addition, Jenzabar in working toward tighter integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP, providing a range of financial management functionality. Benefits are said to include a variety of account modules, reporting capabilities, forecasting, and advanced business intelligence.

According to the announcement, the new platform additions will be made available in 2009. A firm date has not been released.
